Privacy Policy

Summary: We collect your name and email address via Stripe at the point of purchase, in order to deliver your licence key by email. We do not track you, we do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not store any of the financial data you enter into the calculator app. Your calculator data never leaves your device.

What data we collect and why

We collect the minimum data necessary to process your purchase and deliver the product.

Name and email address — collected by Stripe at checkout and used by us solely to generate and send your personal licence key and the app file by email.
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or process your card details. Stripe is the data controller for payment data. You can read Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Transaction records — Stripe retains transaction records as required by applicable law and its own terms. We retain a record of your email address and purchase date for the purpose of customer support and licence validation.

The calculator app

The calculator application (ContractorPayCalculatorIQ.html) runs entirely within your web browser. All data you enter — including revenue figures, salary, dividends, and expenses — is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device only.

No financial data entered into the calculator is ever transmitted to us or to any third party. We have no access to any figures you enter or save within the app.

Email delivery

We use Resend to send transactional emails, including your licence delivery email. Your name and email address are passed to Resend for this purpose only. Resend does not use this information for marketing. You can read Resend's privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes. No third-party tracking scripts are loaded on this website. The website does not use Google Analytics or any equivalent service.

Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process. These are strictly necessary for payment processing.

Data retention

We retain your name and email address for as long as necessary to provide customer support, reissue licence keys upon request, and comply with applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@contractor-pay-calculator.uk.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Your email and name are transmitted securely to Stripe and Resend over encrypted connections. We do not store payment card data.
